Super Systems, Inc.

Heat Treat Process Control and Traceability

With today's requirements focused on traceability and proof of processing, customers have been requesting tools to facilitate these requirements that are easy to use by the heat treat operators. For years, Super Systems has delivered state of the art process controllers for carburizing, nitriding, vacuum and aluminum heat treating. Our controls are straightforward, easy to use and reduce the opportunities for errors. The programmable controllers include all the necessary features to run complex processes with auto tuning, heat treat specific recipes, user defined events, digital inputs, analog outputs and much more. This SSi programmer also includes a paperless chart recorder. All data is logged onto a non-volatile flash memory card and can be viewed directly on the touch screen interface or viewed from any number of computers on your network. The new TS Manager Software, which comes with the controller downloads the data to your computer at the click of a button. No paper chart recorders, just usable data. Another new feature with the process controllers is the Mini Batch function. This new functionality allows operators to capture load information at the controller and can automatically select recipes based on part number(s). The Mini-Batch function incorporates scanning technology so operators can simply scan shop order barcodes reducing costly mistakes. All of your load data is captured and easily searched for evaluation and printing.
