AFC-HOLCROFT and its divisions—Atmosphere Furnace Company (AFC), Holcroft, Pacific Industrial Furnace Co. (PIFCO), Process Master Controls and Therm Alliance (TA)—realize that our success is a direct result of our customers' success. That is why we listen to them. We become a part of their team from initial concept through project completion, so they get the exact system they need. Our family of companies has been in the heat treat business for over 150 years. We not only have pioneered some innovative heat treat systems, but we continually endeavor to improve and enhance the performance of our systems. Our highly experienced staff of engineers work in close association with you to develop a system to meet and exceed your quality and productivity expectations. Equipment Offered:
ALD-Holcroft provides ‘The Solution’ to your high volume, vacuum based heat-treating equipment requirements. We provide process capabilities such as Low Pressure Carburizing (LPC) and high pressure gas quenching (HPGQ) as well as vacuum oil quenching, neutral hardening and on and on. Automated processing of heat treat is the most economical means to gaining the most from your capital investment. Equipment Offered:
Since 1972, The Furnace Belt Company Limited has been manufacturing metal conveyor belts for a broad range of applications and industries. We were founded on the principle of hard work, with a "Roll up your sleeves and get the job done right" approach to satisfying our customers' needs. The round wire mesh belt we supply is available in many weave patterns. Balanced weave belt consists of a series of alternating single left-hand and right-hand spirals joined together by a cross-rod connector. Double balanced weave belt consists of a series of alternating double left-hand and right-hand spirals joined together by a straight or crimped cross-rod connector. Rod reinforced weave belt consists of single directional spirals inter-woven into the preceding spirals. The spirals are "reinforced" by the insertion of a straight or "U" cross-rod connector inserted through its vertices. Double rod reinforced weave belt is an assembly of double spirals, usually right-hand, inter-woven into a preceding pair. The spirals are reinforced by a straight cross-rod connector passing through its vertices. Compound balanced weave belt consists of a series of alternating left-hand and right-hand spirals fastened by a straight cross-rod connector. The close nesting of the spirals this belt ideal for carrying very small parts, such as nuts, bolts, screws, nails, cookies, etc. The FBC conventional weave consists of single directional spirals inter-woven into the preceding spirals. This weave is the most economical of all weaves and it can be made with very large or small openings. Gratex weave belt consists of a series of alternating single left-hand and right-hand spirals joined together by straight cross-rod connectors. Flattened wire belting is an assembly of spirals that are made of round wire that has been flattened somewhat, prior to weaving. This wire can be made into any weave to create a very flat belt, thus reducing belt stretch, which occurs with regular round wire. It creates a smooth carrying surface for small unstable parts. Belt Types Offered:

Since 1970, VAC AERO has been building heat treating equipment for the global market place. VAC AERO specializes in the design and manufacture of high temperature vacuum furnaces. Use in a variety of applications such as turbine engine component manufacture and repair, medical implants and devices, food processing equipment, nuclear materials, tool and die manufacturing and many others. - High
pressure gas quench furnaces. With pressure ratings of 6 bar, 10 bar
and higher, VAC AERO high pressure gas quench furnace designs are based on
extensive research into gas quenching. - Fluoride ion cleaning systems. Gaseous cleaning of service-exposed turbine engine components (blades, vanes, casings, etc.) is considered the best approach to preparing these parts for repair by brazing or welding. The Dayton Process® Fluorocarbon Cleaner is a safe and reliable system for removing service oxides from superalloys. - Hot Zone Replacements and Repairs. VAC AERO Hot Zones are extremely maintenance Friendly and offer extended life for both Graphite and Moly materials.
Custom Electric Manufacturing Co.
has more than 25 years of experience designing and building original equipment
and replacement heating elements and radiant tubes for gas and electric furnaces
to the thermal processing industry. These products are used in thermal
processing applications ranging from heat treating, aluminum melting and
nitrocarburizing to salt baths, burn off ovens and paint curing. Custom Electric has the in-house capability to manufacture heating elements from nickel/chrome, incoloy, iron/chrome/aluminum, Molybdenum, Tungsten, and Kanthal APM* rod. Custom also offers FeCrAl alloy APM radiant tubes which provide up to four times the life of NiCr and ceramic tubes. The types of heating elements available through Custom Electric include edge wound ribbon, plug/rack, rod, ceramic, bayonet, silicon carbide, ribbon and G-block* elements. These products cover an operating temperature range of from 200°; to 2,280° F. Bayonet heating elements can be manufactured in lengths up to 20-ft. long with outside diameters from 2 in. to 7.750 in. Power ratings range from 1 kW to more than 70 kW. Custom Electric maintains a large inventory of ceramic insulators and special alloys. In emergency situations, this allows Custom to ship replacement heating elements in less than 36 hours, thereby minimizing equipment downtime.
